Unfortunately I am allergic to cut hair, so when it is time to body clip one of the Cushing's horses, I must suit up! The humidity, heat index and temperatures are sky rocketing again in a few days, and I just could not let Eagle continue to wear his woolly bear suit any longer. Eagle is a tall and lanky 26 year old QH who is as sweet as they come. Growing excessive hair coat is a symptom of his Cushing's Disease. He will normally be body clipped Spring, Summer and Fall.
This is Eagle about a week ago with his burnt orange fur coat.
And here he is freshly clipped enjoying a snack for being a good boy :)
